FMEA and Control Planning

Peak provides training and facilitation support in the areas of process improvement utilizing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and control plans. FMEA's is a method to identify, prioritize and mitigate risk. Control plans are dynamic tools to define how risks will be controlled in the product or manufacturing processes. FMEA and control plans are required in TS 16949 certified organizations as well as required as part of risk analysis requirements in ISO 13485. Sample clients include Skyworks (multiple divisions), WJ Communications in San Jose, CA and Osram Optoelectronics in San Jose, CA. Curriculum exists to support these concepts.
